Tubing and Paddling – Minnesota’s Favorite Water Sports
Rent an inner tube, kayak, canoe, or paddle board and click the link below, to reserve your relaxing, scenic adventure on the Rum River. Tubing and Paddling are so popular that you must make an internet reservation. River trips are “Open to the Public” Sunday thru Friday. Saturdays are reserved for registered guests of County Camping Tent & RV Park.

Tubing:
Always recommended for children and those that would like to wear one. Please bring your own. They are not provided.
Kayaks, Canoes, and Paddleboards:
Life jackets are included with rentals
Departures
Monday – Thursday: 11am – 3pm, leave on the hour
Friday – Sunday: 10:30am – 3:30pm, leave every 30 minutes
All trips are subject to weather and high-water levels.
Check the river conditions before going.
How-To and FAQs
10 minute bus ride • 1-3 hour Floats • Ends at Country Camping’s landing • Short walk back
How-To
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to reservation time
- Check-in at Bus Stop, with all online waivers completed (Key Check available)
- Your rental equipment will be loaded for you, by our staff
- Leave your tubes or boats at our private landing when you return
- Short walk to store to pick up key.
FAQs
- Rent our cooler tube or bring your small cooler tube
- Float times vary depending upon the river flows and item rented
- Use of Private Landing on Country Camping’s property is for paid guests only
- Sorry, glass and styrofoam are not allowed on the river
- We do not transport personal tubes/floats
- Children under 3 years of age will not be transported in our buses
- Children and non-swimmers must bring their own lifejackets
- You must be at least 16 years old to go tubing/paddling without a parent, waiver must be signed by parent or guardian
