Shuttles depart:

Tubing is subject to river and weather conditions.

We Reserve the right to change tubing hours or guidelines when deemed necessary.

Below are answers to Frequently Asked Questions

We try very hard to maintain a family friendly environment.  For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests we will check coolers and ID’s – alcohol is limited.  Please keep our great natural resource beautiful!  Bring all your trash back with you and please be respectful of others that are using the river.

You will be making and paying for your trip with an on-line reservation system.

We will contact you via email, text or phone call.  Tubing may be cancelled at any time due to weather, high water or other reasons, or at the discretion of Country Camping.

You must be 16 years old to go tubing/paddling without a parent/guardian.  This rule applies to your entire group, and a state issued valid driver’s license should be presented by everyone without a parent.

Yes, children must be at least 3 years old and wear a life jacket for the entire trip.

For the comfort of your child/ren, please bring your own proper fitting jacket for all children 10 and under and non-swimmers.

If you want it, bring it.  Life jackets are always recommended, especially for children and non-swimmers.  Please bring your own.

Yes, you may provide your own small floating cooler or small personal item basket.  These small items may be brought onto the shuttle.  Remember, to be responsible and limit the use of alcoholic beverages, and bring lots of hydrating fluids, (like water).

Tube rental trips include:  Tube, shuttle, use of private landing, free key check & parking.  Shuttle will bring you up river to drop off location, you will float back to our Private Landing and walk back to your camper.

We have Standard vinyl tubes that have a cup holder, handles and a connection lanyard.

Children’s tubes have a canvas cover and a bottom and also a tube for your cooler (additional fee).  It can hold up to a 25 quart cooler.

No, the landing is not a public landing and for use only by registered persons.  Area is monitored, trespassers may be prosecuted.

No, our property is not a public parking area.  Those that do not display the car pass will be subject to tow at owners’ expense.  Please make other arrangements for your end to trip pick-up location.  Your ride will NOT be able to get you on our Private Property.   Trespassers may be prosecuted.

No glass containers or styro-foam cups or coolers.  We reserve the right to inspect all items.

No excessive use of alcohol or lewd obnoxious behavior is not welcome on the river.

It is a River. Conditions are always moving and changing. It is always your responsibility to take care of yourself and others that accompany you. The Rum River is a designated Level 1 Wild and Scenic river with a sandy bottom of varying depths.

To comply with COVID-19 guidelines:  Only Guests Registered to a specific camp site (no visitors) may board the bus. No more than 10 persons on a bus.  Face Masks must been worn on the bus because it is a indoor space.

1 Reservation per group. Use the group leaders name as the Group Name.  Our buses will have a capacity of 10 people.  If you have a large group, you may be divided into separate buses.

Please return all your personal items, cans, bottles & containers.  Join us in September for the annual “Friends of the Rum River” clean-up day.
